Center for Galapagos Studies

The Center for Galapagos Studies, located on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus, is the administrative center for all things Galapagos, particularly related to the use of the Galapagos Science Center for research, teaching, and community outreach and engagement. Stephen J. Walsh (Lyle V. Jones Distinguished Professor of Geography) is the Director of the Center for Galapagos Studies (UNC Campus) and the Galapagos Science Center (San Cristobal Island); Jill Stewart (Professor of Environmental Sciences & Engineering) is the Deputy Director; Phil Page is the Assistant Director; Kelly Weaver is the Director of External Affairs & Communications; and Katya McKerr is the Administrative Manager.
